Uniramosa was named by Kozur and Mock (1972) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Nori-m K Albi Sepkoski's reference number: 982]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon.

It was assigned to Semperitidae by Krainer and Mostler (1997); and to Holothuroidea by Kozur and Mock (1972), Sepkoski (2002).
