Taxonomy
Eutrephoceras decorum was named by Shimansky (1975). Its type specimen is PIN 1619/41, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Uzen valley, Mangyshlak Peninsula, which is in a Maastrichtian marine horizon in Kazakhstan.
