Cymatoceras picteti
Taxonomy
Nautilus picteti was named by Karakasch (1907). Its type specimen is LGU 103/112, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kacha basin, Crimea (LGU collection), which is in a Hauterivian/Barremian marine horizon in Ukraine.
It was recombined as Cymatoceras picteti by Shimansky (1975).
