Taxonomy
Veranadaites palmicostatus was named by Parent and Garrido (2015). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is VV-M-18, Vega de la Veranada, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate sandstone in the La Manga Formation of Argentina.
