Nostoceras (Nostoceras) archiacianum
Taxonomy
Turrilites archiacianus was named by d'Orbigny (1842). Its type specimen is MNHN R1192 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Royan (Charente-Maritime), bed with Radiolites crateriformis, which is in a Campanian carbonate carbonate in France.
It was recombined as Nostoceras (Nostoceras) archiacianum by Kennedy (1986).
