Taxonomy

Hadranderaster was named by Spencer (1907) [Sepkoski's age data: J Bath K Camp]. It is not extant. Its type is Pentaceros abbreviatus.

It was assigned to Valvatida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Stauranderasteridae by Spencer (1913), Spencer and Wright (1966), Breton and Néraudeau (2008).
