Hallinetes lineatus

Taxonomy
Strophomena lineata was named by Conrad (1839) [Neotype established by Racheboeuf & Feldman (1990).]. Its type specimen is AMNH 37233a and is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Hallinetes.

It was recombined as Chonetes lineata by Hall (1867), Hall and Clarke (1892) and Feldman (1985); it was recombined as Chonetes lineatus by Zenger (1967); it was recombined as Hallinetes lineatus by Racheboeuf and Feldman (1990).
