Taxonomy
Glyphiolobus reliquus was named by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1978). Its type specimen is PIN 455/47979, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sakmara River, E of Novo-Sakmarskaya, Southern Urals, Orenburg, which is in a Yeadonian offshore shelf limestone in the Russian Federation.
