Taxonomy
Dalmanella storeya was named by Okulitch (1943). Its type specimen is GSC 1362 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Diceromyonia storeya by Ross (1957), Brindle (1960), Macomber (1970), Jin et al. (1997), Jin and Zhan (2001).
