Taxonomy
Pseudostenopoceras solare was named by Shimanskiy (1967). Its type specimen is PIN 1192/457, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shchurovo, River Oka, which is in a Podolskian marine horizon in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Pseudostenopoceras.
