Pycnomicrodon texanus

Taxonomy
Microdon texanus was named by Gidley (1913). Its type specimen is USNM 7621, a partial skull (vomerine tooth plate), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Pycnomicrodon.

It was recombined as Pycnomicrodon texanus by Hay (1916).
