Taxonomy
Dombarites parafalcatoides was named by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1971). Its type specimen is PIN 455/20522, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dombar Hills, sample 3, which is in a Brigantian carbonate limestone in Kazakhstan.
