Proclinorthis vailhanensis
Taxonomy
Proclinorthis vailhanensis was named by Colmenar et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.A46467, a valve (internal mould of a pedicle valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Southern slope of Grand Glauzy hill, Vailhan, between Gabian and Neffiès, which is in a Berounian/Pusgillian marine sandstone in the Glauzy Formation of France. It is the type species of Proclinorthis.
