Eumorphoceras (Sulcogirtyoceras) jasperense
Taxonomy
Girtyoceras jasperense was named by Gordon (1964). Its type specimen is USNM 119626, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 14376, Jasper, which is in a Pendleian marine shale in the Fayetteville Formation of Arkansas.
It was recombined as Eumorphoceras (Sulcogirtyoceras) jasperense by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1971).
