Aacocrinus was named by Bowsher (1955) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Aacocrinus nododorsatus.
It was assigned to Actinocrinitinae by Webster and Lane (1987); and to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002).
