Taxonomy
Alloprosallocrinus was named by Casseday and Lyon (1862) [Sepkoski's age data: C Vise-l Sepkoski's reference number: 986]. It is not extant. Its type is Alloprosallocrinus conicus.

It was assigned to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Batocrinidae by Ausich et al. (2018).
