G. D. Webster and N. G. Lane 1987Calyx low to high, rounded or conical, IIRrr, fixed in each half-ray; primanal typically followed by 2 or rarely 3 plates. Tegmen usually higher than theca, but equal to or less than this, tapering upward and prominently lobed but not spinose, summit generally flat, occupied by 5 00, 4 of these forming semicircle around larger posterior 0; anal tube eccentric, on posterior side of CD 0.
