Bogotacrinus was named by Schmidt (1934) [Sepkoski's age data: D Emsi , D Eife]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Hapalocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); to Pterinocrinidae by McIntosh (1987); and to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002).
