Cenoceras majesticum
Taxonomy
Cenoceras majesticum was named by Rulleau (2008). Its type specimen is PF Aal 234, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Belmont d’Azergues (Lafarge quarry), Lower Aalenian (opalinum Zone), which is in an Aalenian marine limestone/sandstone in France.
