Taxonomy
Pseudopus ahnikoviensis was named by Klembara (2012). Its type specimen is NMP Pb 02026, a partial skull (a single parietal without posterior portions of supratemporal processes), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Merkur-North, which is in an Orleanian fluvial-lacustrine marl/coal in the Most Formation of Czechia.
