Cusacrinus was named by Bowsher (1955) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour-l C Tour-u Sepkoski's reference number: 986]. It is not extant. Its type is Actinocrinus nodobrachiatus.
It was assigned to Cactocrininae by Webster and Lane (1987); and to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002).
