Taxonomy
Eutelecrinus was named by Wanner (1916) [Sepkoski's age data: P Guad-u Sepkoski's reference number: 2]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Eutelecrinidae.

It was assigned to Hapalocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Eutelecrinidae by Webster and Webster (2012).
