Taxonomy
Plemnocrinus was named by Kirk (1946) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour-u C Vise-l Sepkoski's reference number: 986]. It is not extant. Its type is Plemnocrinus beebei.

It was assigned to Platycrinitidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002).
