Taxonomy
Conus pagoda was named by Kiener (1929). It is extant. It is the type species of Conus (Conasprella), Conasprella (Conasprella).

It was recombined as Conasprella pagoda by Tucker and Tenorio (2009); it was recombined as Conasprella (Conasprella) pagoda by Puillandre et al. (2015).
