Taxonomy
Eutrephoceras traubi was named by Schultz (1976). Its type specimen is BSPG 1943/II/140-A, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kch 6, Kroisbach, Haunsberg near St. Pankraz, which is in a Thanetian marine horizon in Austria.
