Taxonomy
Dunveganoceras parvum was named by Cobban (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 108330, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 21484, Yellow Water Reservoir, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Belle Fourche Formation of Montana.
