Taxonomy

Syringostroma microporum was named by Girty (1895).

It was recombined as Parallelostroma microporum by Stock (1988).

Synonyms

Syringostroma barretti was named by Girty (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality A. Cliff face 20-30 m north of western end of Indian Ladder Trail, which is in a Lochkovian carbonate carbonate in the Manlius Formation of New York.

It was recombined as Habrostroma barretti by Fagerstrom (1982); it was synonymized subjectively with Parallelostroma microporum by Stock (1988).
Syringostroma consimile was named by Girty (1895).

It was recombined as Habrostroma consimile by Fagerstrom (1982); it was synonymized subjectively with Parallelostroma microporum by Stock (1988).
