Eohalysiocrinus was named by Prokop (1970) [Sepkoski's age data: S Wenl D Eife Sepkoski's reference number: 250]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Calceocrinidae by Ausich (1998); and to Disparida by Sepkoski (2002).
