Desmoceras akuschaense was named by Anthula (1899). It is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Valdedorsella akuschaense by Renz (1982); it was synonymized subjectively with Valdedorsella getulina by Szives (2007); it was recombined as Valdedorsella akuschaensis by Collignon (1962) and El Qot (2018).
