Epihalysiocrinus was named by Arendt (1965) [Sepkoski's age data: P Leon-m]. It is not extant. Its type is Halysiocrinus tuberculatus.
It was assigned to Calceocrinidae by Arendt (1981), Ausich (1998); and to Disparida by Sepkoski (2002).
