Abrachiocrinus was named by Wanner (1923) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour P Guad-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Sycocrinites clausus.
It was assigned to Hypocrininae by Arendt (1970); to Codiacrininae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002).
