Taxonomy
Adinocrinus was named by Kirk (1938) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour C Vise-l]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Adinocrinidae.

It was assigned to Adinocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002).
