Sauravus costei
Taxonomy
Sauravus costei was named by Thevenin (1906). Its type specimen is MNHN 1049, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Montceau-les-Mines, Saone et Loire, which is in a Stephanian B/Stephanian C terrestrial horizon in France. It is the type species of Sauravus.
