Taxonomy
Bridgerocrinus was named by Laudon and Severson (1953) [Sepkoski's age data: D Fame-l C Tour-u Sepkoski's reference number: 1247]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Bridgerocrinidae.

It was assigned to Scytalocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Bridgerocrinidae by Webster and Lane (2007).
