Cadocrinus was named by Wanner (1924) [Sepkoski's age data: P Guad-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); to Cadocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978), Webster and Webster (2012); and to Articuliformes by Wright (2017).
