Anadesmoceras strangulatum
Taxonomy
Anadesmoceras strangulatum was named by Casey (1954). Its type specimen is BGS Zm 1283, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wrecclesham, Surrey, Folkestone Beds, which is in an Albian marine horizon in the Folkestone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Anadesmoceras.
