Taxonomy
Septaliphoria sobolevi was named by Makridin (1964). Its type specimen is KhGU 196/34195, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oskol River, 1 km above Bukhil railway bridge, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone in the Izyum Formation of Ukraine.
