Taxonomy
Decadocrinus was named by Wachsmuth and Springer (1879) [Sepkoski's age data: D Give C Vise-u]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Decadocrinacea, Decadocrinidae.

It was assigned to Poteriocrinidae by Laudon (1936); to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); to Decadocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978), Kammer and Roeser (2012); and to Articuliformes by Wright (2017).
