Delocrinus was named by Miller and Gurley (1890) [Sepkoski's age data: C Mosc-u P Guad-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Erisocrinidae by Washburn (1968); to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); to Catacrinidae by Pabian and Strimple (1974), Webster and Webster (2012); and to Articuliformes by Wright (2017).
