Endelocrinus was named by Moore and Plummer (1940) [Sepkoski's age data: C Bash-u P Sakm]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Paradelocrinidae by Pabian and Strimple (1974); to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Catacrinidae by Moore and Strimple (1973) and Webster and Webster (2012).
