Taxonomy
Haeretocrinus was named by Moore and Pulmmer (1940) [Sepkoski's age data: C Mosc-u C Step-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Scytalocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978), Pabian and Rushlau (2002); and to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002).
