Holocrinus smithi
Taxonomy
Isocrinus smithi was named by Clark and Twitchell (1915) [attributed to Clark only.]. Its type specimen is USNM 31184, a set of stem ossicles, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Paris Canyon, Bear Lake County, which is in a Smithian marine horizon in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Holocrinus smithi by Schubert et al. (1992).
