Ammonellipsites clitheroensis
Taxonomy
Ammonellipsites clitheroensis was named by Riley (1996). Its type specimen is BGS Ro 864, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bellman Quarry, south side, temporary exposure (1979) in a sewer trench, which is in a Chadian marine mudstone in the Hodder Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
