Taxonomy
Gemmellaroceras subtilicostatum was named by Rakús and Guex (2002). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Djebel Zaghouan, Mines of Djebel Staa, bed 4 (upper), which is in a Jamesoni open shallow subtidal limestone in the Oust Formation of Tunisia.
