Oklahomacrinus was named by Moore (1939) [Sepkoski's age data: C Mosc-l C Step-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Oklahomacrinus supinus.

It was assigned to Cymbiocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); to Aesiocrinidae by Webster and Lane (2007); and to Ampelocrinidae by Webster and Donovan (2015).
