Wocklumeria sphaeroides

Taxonomy
Goniatites sphaeroides was named by Richter (1848). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bohlen near Saalfeld, which is in a Famennian carbonate limestone in the Gleitsch Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Wocklumeria sphaeroides by Bogoslovsky (1981), Korn (1999), Becker (2000).
