Taxonomy
Paracenoceras noetlingi was named by Halder and Bardhan (1997). Its type specimen is GSI 2913, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mazar Drik, Polyphemus limestone, which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in Pakistan.
