Taxonomy
Cyclostoma spiruloides was named by Lamarck (1804). It is not extant. Its type locality is Grignon (Defrance collection), which is in a Lutetian open shallow subtidal sandstone/sandstone in France.
It was recombined as Eoatlanta spiruloides by Ravn (1933).
