Stenzeloceras sinuosum
Taxonomy
Stenzeloceras sinuosum was named by Whetstone and Teichert (1978). Its type specimen is KU 135677, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Montgomery County (W1/2 sec. 23), which is in a Campanian carbonate marl in the Mooreville Chalk Formation of Alabama. It is the type species of Stenzeloceras.
