Taxonomy
Nautilus schneidi was named by von Loesch (1914). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loisacker, opposite Neuberg an der Donau, which is in a Tithonian carbonate limestone in the Neuberg Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Pseudaganides schneidi by Kummel (1956).
